What is there to stop us from succumbing?
From a pain that is constantly paralyzing and numbing?

Society wants us to change,
To something we are not

Is just a few things we’re taught.

So what is there to do without doubt?
In a closely monitored world with no foreseeable way out?
You smile, laugh, and live in your own special way,
And give the Judgmental people something to talk about!

Because no matter where you go,
Unpleasant people will show,
So give it all that you have got
And show all that you know.

And prove you are more than just the media’s little puppet show.
